P bass, and why I love it!!

Yeah.  I'm not sure I'd like to witness Mr Astley being stuck up either.  Good tactic.

Of course, if Laura Ashley or Orla Kiely did wallpaper with pictures of basses on it... I'd be insistent

I found that when I was playing a j, I would want to play the Jaco type bridge pup sound all the time, which isn't always suitable. Plus when you roll up at a venue which has electrical issues (which are many) and you are the kid that's humming loudest, well........

I hum loudest even with a P bass... I really need to shower more often.

On a P, there is a sweet spot where its voice really shines. Frets 5-9 on a and d strings. I find it a real joy to include these notes in a line

That's it, i need a P... now i only have to.learn a 4 fret range, perfect 😆
