Are we sure they are switches and vents? It is Russian after all

They're not switches. That's a revolutionary bass with no strings - you flip the paddles up and down instead.

Oooooh! I just noticed that the output socket is a 5-pin DIN plug. I really cannot wait to see the expression on the face of the sound engineer at your next gig ...

Ah that's me buggered then. It's a 6 paddle. I'm useless with anything more than a 4 paddle. 😂

The back of the neck is, err, an interesting profile...

Of course when you say "interesting" what you really mean is completely uneven and generally shite...

Stew, you shouldn't have done that, you really shouldn't.

I've bought it. I just had to.

Well the listing has ended so I'm guessing you're actually serious. 😂

It's actually so ugly it's kind of beautiful.

Those switches on the OP’s bass though! Shame they don’t show what they look like when they’re down - looks like you may need to flick it back up by sliding your fingernail under it (or, God forbid, a pick/plec).

It will look great hung over my fireplace, like a hunting trophy.

I'm thinking it will look much better IN your fireplace!

With all disrespect to Russians (as a Polish man who remembers 17.09.1939) -  too much vodka is not really great for designing and making musical instruments.....

Can't argue with that, but it makes for great Modern Art ...

The description is just SO good; I felt obliged to preserve it for prosperity on our fine pages as A VERY FINE example of google translate mis-use:

Shaft stiffness aside ... I particularly like "When sending the neck is separated from the body"  Who's Neck?  The senders or the receivers?

Active Electric Bass "Borisov BASS-1"

has three induction pickup , improved design , universal stand that allows change the length of the strings and their relative distance pickups, adjusting screwdriver Encased in guitar ,effects card.

Grief has a shaft stiffness , tension which made nut.

In the control device electric pickups mechanical vibrations of strings into an electrical signal . To extend the range of sound and color in the radio circuit used electric phase effect on the PCB

The spectrum of the output signal at the output device is changed by switches and knobs effects. With the inclusion of three switches produced tones and pen next to them is used to adjust the volume.

The operates in the presence of the battery "9V" .

When sending the neck is separated from the body.
