Some are still there, most of them have been sold. Enjoy : 165. Zeta Prism, 1980’s, green. 🤘 💪 🖖 Holy crap. My list only goes up to a mere 121 basses over 40 years, and I thought I was a lost cause! There's no point in me publishing my list, I'd just look stupid! 😁
PatrickJ
I've only been playing 4 years so I'm quite embarrassed by this list, mostly by the number of effects pedals that I have gone through! The Amps, and to some extent the guitars have been a result of starting to jam with bands, then gigging. A bit of trial and error in regards to what was easily transportable, loud enough and what comfortably fits into a tiny stage space!! The ones that stayed and will prob stay for good: 83 Fender P Tony Franklin P Fender Jazz Dlx ‘11 MIJ Walnut Fender J 90s Fender P, ‘78 fretless neck, quarter pounder PJ’s. TheGreek
145. Veillette-Citron 4 short scale, 1980's, natural. Don't see many of those...I still have my fretted, sold the fretless (foolishly) a few years ago.

TorturedSaints
Wow. Seriously just wow. Only bass I have ever sold was my Shine SB24 PJ (and wish I'd never sold it). Amps I have sold Laney Richter RB3 and GK MB500. Cabs I have sold Warwick WCA410 and Peavey 410TVX. I really must try harder!
gjones
I've now got 10 basses (including a DB) and 5 amps. Many of them bought via Basschat. I justify the basses, to myself, by seeing them as an investment - as they were mostly bought secondhand, are sought after makes, and will hold their value well. I've got all my bass needs met, for the music I play, and I really don't need another bass. But I still find myself scanning basschat or Ebay for the perfect, olympic white, Precision. Why???

Hellzero
Without discussion, the Leduc basses as they are simply perfect for me, especially the ones in my signature. I'm coming back from Christophe's home right now and we had a long talk about lutherie, its influence on sound and his new internal preamp. We have also become friends over the years. So the Masterpiece (MP or HMP for headless Masterpiece) fretless, the PAD (only fretted as there was no fretless), the U-basse (UMM) fretless and my 6 strings EUB called Moaï are my favourites. And this Ken Lawrence Associate 5 which was the best all maple neck ever.

Seven is a conservative estimate. I went through a phase, after buying my first BB414, of getting a GAS attack, selling the BB414 and buying something else, only to find that I preferred the BB414 and would go on the hunt for another. I would often have two BB414's at the same time (one as a backup). This happened several times as you can see. Quilly
Its a disease, every time I whittle my collection to the bare essential of gear, just to keep afloat, I get the fever. I've a serious addiction to tube heads that I know wont be sated until I own a sandbox WB-100.
