Suitable capo for 6 sting bass

I am currently seeking input and advice on the best capos us use with a wide neck. The one I currently have is not long enough so in need of a quality alternative.

What are people using? What should I stay away from? 

It needs to be sturdy, strong and robust as I do tend to have a heavy touch.

Depends how wide the neck is really. I did experiment with one on my 6 string Modulus a couple of years ago, that had quite narrow 17mm string spacing, I used a classical guitar capo. It was by planet waves:

A friend of mine uses one quite frequently, I’ll ask him what he uses.
