Spector Bass Case?

Hi everyone!

Anyone got any recommendations for a hard case for a spector bass?  Between the small curved body and angled head stock I'm absolutely paranoid it's going to end up in a snapped heap of firewood!

You could always buy a Spector hard case.  The bass will fit very snug.  They are quite pricey  and from some of the reviews they're not the toughest of all cases.

Mine live in SKB style moulded cases...I have total confidence in them. I think that SiBob is currently selling one on here.

Thanks for the suggestions, ended up with the spector case from Thomann, bass direct didn't get back to me with a timescale from their distributer.  Bit dubious from the reviews I've read, but seems the best case for the job

What Spector do  you have ??   Any pics???

Why not get a generic case and cut foam to fit?

I'm impressed with the personal touch with text message etc, so far so good 🙂

Cheers folks,  It's a great bass! I love the satin finish.  Only used through headphones so far but there's a lot more body to the tone than I expected with the pick up placement.  Build quality seems better than the EBMM Sterling 5 I had a while back(although this may have been a bad apple).  Excited to see how it sits in the band mix.

 

I can see how spector's can become addictive, Greek! I'm already considering looking for a PJ config next!  Which spectors do you have?
