Vester Clipper (thumb copy) preamp advice please!

So, I picked up this vester clipper recently, in bright red gloss. I had a fretless one a few years ago and loved it. (of course I sold it!! I always do!!)

This one is a fretted model, sounds killer, almost jazz style fizzy gurgle. The thing is, the on board electronics are a bit past their best and I want to replace. It's a vol/vol/tone arrangement but is battery powered. Does anyone know of a good replacement?

Nice! I have a Tanglewood Funkmaster which looks *very* like a Warwick Streamer.

I'm sure Kiogon will be along shortly and he will hopefully be able to help you out.

If not I have an EMG-BQC preamp that I don't have any use for, might involve a few extra pots though.

Is this yours? Stacked knobs et al?

Dropping EMGS in?

I've recently acquired one of these - very pleasantly surprised. Plays and sounds great and looks gorgeous.

Do you find the rosewood(?) in the neck has shrunk past the maple?

Hi!

I have a Vester Platin. I replaced both jazz pickups and put an EMG BQC in it. Works great!
