I knocked it up waiting for a mate of mine to come to the studio for a jam. He never turned up but I'd done this in the mean time. I didn't actually realise it was a weird time signature until I played it to a friend a few days later

Excellent work on "hiding" the unusual time signature - it doesn't have the awkwardness of some tunes I've heard which make it very obvious they're in an odd metre. The groove makes it sound perfectly natural.
