Jonse Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 (edited) This switch fell to bits out the front of my Ampeg micro vr the other day and I've been struggling to get my hands on another and I can't seem to repair this one. I've narrowed it down to being a Rong Feng rf-1003 but I can't find one with the red plastic and led. Anybody know where I might find one in the UK? I'd rather not pay for the extortionate shipping from China if possible. Ampeg haven't replied to my emails. Thanks all. Edited September 21, 2018 by Jonse Quote
ikay Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Not exactly the same but these look quite similar - https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Rocker-Switch-240v-Mains-Red-on-off-Double-Pole-4-Pin-DPST/1460306375?iid=152578178551 Quote

Jonse Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 I think this one may fit. Hadn't found this listing earlier, been searching ages! Will find out next week I guess. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F111859332842 Quote

itu Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Again, Digi-Key might be of help: https://www.digikey.co.uk/products/en/switches/rocker-switches/195 Start from "Panel Cutout Dimensions" and then "Switch Function" and "Current Rating" and so on. There may be a slight chance to find the right one. Quote
Jonse Posted September 27, 2018 Author Posted September 27, 2018 So the switch finally arrived today and its a perfect fit. Five minutes of installation (a small dab of glue holding it in place, not the insane amount of epoxy I had to cut away before) and the micro vr is good for another 6 years of daily service. Thanks all. 1 Quote
