Lozz196
Great shame, C&Ds music was part of my teens, always on Top of The Pops bringing their own particular brand of great music.

Baxlin
Just sorted out my Cliff Bennett and RRs album 'Driving you wild' with Chas in the RRs lineup. It's about time I gave it an airing...... Edited September 23, 2018 by Baxlin Speeling mistuk

drTStingray
Very sad - apart from Heads Hands and Feet I first came across Chas's bass playing on Jerry Lee Lewis's London Sessions album - which I bought because one of my favourite guitar players appeared. Chas's bass playing is excellent on it. Taught me a lot about playing bass on rock and roll and country music. He was playing bass a lot earlier than that, with Ritchie Blackmore and others, with Joe Meek in the early 60s. Barking Spiders
Huge shame especially since he had made a recovery from cancer . Remember seeing them at Sonisphere a few years ago. Best set on the bill by far and I mean that! C & D provided much needed levity and simple good fun to counter the sturm and drang of the metal acts around them. I was only there to see The Prodigy (who were a bit shoite tbh) and cos my good lady wanted to see Metallica Edited September 24, 2018 by Barking Spiders
