Little Dragon Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Picked one of these up yesterday used and have spent a large potion of today playing it. As nice as any Fender I've played. Jazz nut width, nicely finished neck and lovely sound. Don't know why they aren't more popular. Quote
BreadBin Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I just sold one, struggled to get £150 for it with some decent mods too. 1 Quote

That's odd, when I put mine up for grabs it sold in minutes 👍 Buyer already owned one so it was a no-brainer 🙂 Think it must've been one of the loudest basses I've ever had. Quote
Little Dragon Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 Not surprised it sold to someone who already owns one. 1 Quote
kodiakblair Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Aye, regret selling it. Built one similar but of course its not the same 😐 Quote
TheGreek Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 I met up with a BCer looking for a case to fit his. He spoke very highly of it... The latest great VFM bass? Another nail in the Fender coffin?? 1 Quote

At the start they were decent and dependable wear for working folk, got "must have, trendy brand" status, then kicked into touch by the designer jeans fad. Now still bought by folks who grew up qwearing them and youngsters being Retro 😃 I'm a Wrangler's man myself 😎 1 Quote

It does was it does well, but while it's stood still admiring itself, every other brand has come up alongside and overtaken them. 2 Quote
