Listened to this the other day and yes, lovely Bass playing. I must say though, they all play great. Top grooving going on.

The Pianist is terrific.

The whole band are on it really, but what the bassist is doing is very subtle. I actually missed a lot of it the first few run throughs cos of the fireworks elsewhere, but repeated listening has made it all clear. Very understated but very right for the gig.

I've just found an album 'Ultima Noticia' on Amazon music, which I've now added to my library.

I'll give it a listen tomorrow.

I couldn't decide who I was enjoying listening to more, the drummer or the pianist. Both were totally amazing and had me captivated. I was loving the whole thing but could only stomach about 10 minutes until the scratching stuff got on my nerves.

I'm really enjoying the album.

I've not listened to much Latin Jazz, but there's a fair bit more funk on some of the tracks than I was expecting.

Not often I download new albums I hear on Basschat, but just have with this album....

This is really amazing. Thanks for sharing. A terrifically skilled bunch of musicians doing something pretty unique. I agree the piano player is particularly good, but he's not miles ahead of the rest. Wonderful! (When's the UK tour?!)
