0353203 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 (edited) Hi All, Up for sale is my 1963/4 Candy Apple Red Fender Bass VI with its blonde tolex case. 100% original apart from some very minor touch ups on the headstock. Original mute system (sans mute pad) and trem bar included. Rare indeed. Has plenty of checking, dings, dongs, dangs and scratches, but overall in terrific condition for her age. These basses are becoming increasingly collectable and prices have risen quickly over the past three or four years....they never quite caught on back in the day and so plenty can be found with reasonable gaps between compenent parts....this one has a '63 neck date and '64 pots as they were assembled to order. Any questions please ask and feel free to pop round for a play with no obligation. Cheers, Si Edited October 16, 2018 by 0353203 Sold
vintage_ben Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 This is seriously cool. My friend has a sunburst one. Same year as your and very clean. We’ve gotten so much use out of it in the studio. If you’re into that new order/ the cure bartone sound one of these is a must!

obbm Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Nice. This brings back memories of the late Jet Harris and "Diamonds" and "Scarlett O'Hara".
itsmedunc Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 This should come with an "Impending Divorce Warning"!!! That's a seriously fantastic piece of kit that I'd have a go at if I had any money! GLWTS.
