Final Price Drop. Now on sale for £2200, selling without the flight case and tear drop case.

Here’s one you don’t see too often, in fabulous condition, extremely rare ‘84 Musicman Cutlass I, pre Ernie Ball, two band EQ, Serial number BO17701, Modulus Graphite Neck with Ebony Fingerboard, Stingray Body, Neck dates ‘84, Body dates ‘79.

Beautiful bass to play, lovely action, frets have plenty of life left in them. Definitely a body refin, as for a nearly 40 year old bass there’s not a blemish on it.

Will be shipped (or collected) with gig bag and serious packaging!

Based in Ireland, collection preferred, but willing to ship overseas at buyers expense.

Thanks for looking.

I’ve been asked a few questions in relation to partial trades. Only partial trade I would consider would be a pre EB sabre, preferably fretless.

So it is a bit wider than a Stingray ? (41,3mm, I believe)

Not sure, I’ll check it against my stingray later when I’m back in the studio.

Just measured my pre eb Ray and its nut measures 42.6mm. Maybe your measurement is for a modern Ernie Ball Stingray?

I have a Cutlass... hmmmm... we should pm, what’s the worst that could happen!

Lovely bass! I should know, I've got one too! :) It may not be refinished as mine is in pretty damn near perfect condition and is original paint, but mine is an 1983 model. If the scratchplate is matt, then it's not the original one. Good luck with the sale!

Howdy folks,

I now have my eye on another piece of kit, so while it’s available and for sale, I’m going to offer my Cutlass at £2400 for a quick sale and if it sells this week will even let it go with a pre Eb tear drop case!!

Surprised that this is still here, £2400 including the era correct case is a very fair price.

I’ve dealt with Drew before, a true gent, have a bump on me.

Now off to see how I can get the funds to buy this, I wonder what the black market pays for a kidney these days ? 🤔
