CokeyW Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Anyone going to worship at the alter of Joe Dart in Brixton this week? I’m expecting there’ll be a fair few fellow BC’ers there. I’ve had to swap from Friday to Thursday so my Friday eticket is going cheap in the related items section if you’re interested. Can’t wait! Quote
cheddatom Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Yeh I'm going on Thursday, really looking forward to it! Quote
toneknob Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Going Friday! Got a spare single ticket (downstairs standing) if anyone wants it. Quote
cheddatom Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 If you're trying to get rid of tickets I can recommend the Vulfpack group on Facebook. I got rid of a spare last year through that group Quote

Reggaebass Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 If it hadn’t been for basschat I would never have heard of this band. as I mainly play reggae and a bit of funk. What a revelation they are absolutely great 👍 Quote

I haven’t been this excited about seeing a band for a long time. 1 Quote
NickD Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I'm going Thursday, but it's gonna be a rush. Meeting the Mrs from work out in Middlesex at 7 then getting down there as quickly as we can. I'm guessing their stage time will be at least half past eight, so should be fine, but I'm guessing we'll be missing some interesting support. Quote

NickD Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Someone rubbish I hope... I'm still in Stanmore, changing at Wembley to go and meet the Mrs at Northwood.😂 Quote
Phill Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Going Friday Haven't been this excited for a live show in years Quote

CokeyW Posted October 4, 2018 Author Posted October 4, 2018 Man o Man.......what a band. And as for JD....wow 2 Quote
stewblack Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Just made it home. What a collection of musicians. Unreal. 1 Quote
stewblack Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 A lot of Arsenal fans in last night got the whole crowd doing the Theo chant. Mr Katzman seemed genuinely touched. Quote
bornagainbass65 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I don't go to many gigs but ended up on the front row for this. Here's a terrible picture... 😆 1 Quote
BassApprentice Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Sad they aren't coming to Scotland this time round. They genuinely fill the entire room with joy and good vibes! Quote
Kevsy71 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Absolutely superb, and really good fun - a rare combo in a gig these days! @hiram.k.hackenbacker thanks for posting the Dean Town video: both my son and I were there and are learning to play it, so I'll be trying to glean some tips 1 Quote
Kevsy71 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) Brilliant, thanks very much. I've watched some YT playthroughs but all the tabs are tiny. Where he breaks out of the sixteenths at the end of bar 20...I'm trying to play the D# 's on the A string, as otherwise I find it a big reach and not hitting the notes properly. Or maybe I should work more on stretching, as I've not got small hands... And if that was your video from Brixton, then I was about ten yards from you! Edited October 5, 2018 by Kevsy71 Quote
