TC Electronic Aeon - any experience?

Following CameronJ's helpful post about TC Electronic reducing their prices, I bought an Aeon sustainer (I couldn't justify buying more pedals!) - kind of like an Ebow as I understand. I havn't had a chance to play with it yet.

Does anyone have any experience with these, or the Ebow, and are there any tips or techniques that will help?
