TheGreek Posted October 5, 2018 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Back in the late 80s my third bass was a Washburn ABT Force - I really liked it, nice lines, P/J pick ups, 24 fret neck - I thought that at £199 it was very good VFM. One of my friends bought one on the same weekend, we had completely different styles but it suited both of us. When I started playing again after a 15 year lay off I went looking for the latest Washburn - the T14 - couldn't find one at the time so ended up buying a Cort which I found completely character-less, I traded this in for a Crafter acoustic bass not long after. I've bought and sold many basses since and even though I've looked at the T14 I've never put my hand in my pocket and bought one. The Washburn T14 regularly appears on auction sites like eBay for very little. There's a nice quilted one on eBay at the moment. Thing is, I can't remember a single thread about this bass here on BC.
