Dream Theater recommendations

I could do with some help with Dream Theater tunes that are good for bassists coming to grade five-ish.  Any suggestions?

Great choice! I would start off with their slower tunes and concentrate on working on really locking it in. Pull me under is a great track to work up too though

Anything where James LaBrie doesn't sing much and before Jordan Rudess joined would be a good start.

Under peruvian skies from falling into infinity.  Quite laid back ( for DT). 

Agree with Chris. Sherinian's the better keyboard player. 

As an aside i've seen portnoy and sherinian a couple of times now with sons of apollo and it's really obvious how well they play together and how much fun they're having. Long may it continue.
