Bridgehouse
I’m now (as of today) seeing google ads on safari on my iPhone - at the top of the page, but rather irritatingly right in the middle of some peoples posts. Even when closed the box remains and I can’t actually read the posted content. As it stands, it’s actually now impossible for me to view the forum on my iPhone as the content is obscured in random locations. Was turning the ads on a conscious move by the team? If it was then it’s ruined the experience on iPhone for me and rendered it unusable.
Bigwan
Getting the same ads on Android but they're not obscuring anything... Just peppered about the threads in unexpected places. Distracting... Edited October 7, 2018 by Bigwan

Sounds like all mobile platforms then - on longer threads I’d say 1 in 5 posts is obscured to the point that I can’t read them at all... Bridgehouse
I’m also getting big blank spaces where there probably should be ads - they fill about 1/3 of the screen, and can’t be removed.
Phil_T
Just started seeing these ads appearing in safari on a mac. They're sat over posts completely obscuring the text

Hobbayne
I use an ad blocker on a macbook with firefox. No adverts at all here.

TheGreek
Just started a similar post on the other site reporting thread. Mines on my PC.

Crikey. With the ads appearing in posts and obscuring text it pretty much renders the site unreadable for me.

ped
Sorry our fault, we were waiting for Google to update something and I had an email from them this morning - I didn't realise by default they give you 'auto ads' all over the bloody place. We're configuring them to be as they were before at the moment.
Maude
I like 'em. I've already bagged myself a new boiler, a chainsaw, an old bike from a Police auction and a hot Polish date! What's not to like? 🤣😂 1

I thought I was going to have to buy new lingerie, send money to Somalia, buy viagra, a new travel iron and subscribe to a wine distribution service just to read what @Al Krow had written about the Helix Stomp.

Norris
They are BIG too. The home page earlier was one giant ad on my phone. I had to scroll down to see the forum headings Edit: I think the word is "intrusive" to understate Edited October 7, 2018 by Norris
