P bass pick up installation

I have replaced p bass pick ups many times but straight from the box.

I'm working on a project p bass and have spare SPB1 to fit. Does it matter which half goes under E and A strings etc?.

I pressume there is a slight difference in impedance and wouldn't make a noticeable difference which way around I fit it?

I hope not, because I've always fitted them whichever way the wiring sits best

I would assume the difference in the impedance and induction is so miniscule that there is no difference. As @MoJo, I install whichever way round makes the wires most easy to fit without snagging etc.
