alyctes
There can't be many of these around, surely. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1975-GIBSON-GRABBER-Bass-Guitar-Fretless-Not-Ripper-Rare-Moveable-Pickup/332832758949?hash=item4d7e60dca5:g:N44AAOSw3Ypbnp6U

alyctes
I wouldn't dare call a concurring hero anything of the sort
anzoid
I was a bit interested until I read "...the main thing to note on this bass is that the headstock has twisted slightly, see image". Yup... no thanks. Also no particularly good pictures of the defret, though it looks like it wasn't done professionally - but if the price is right, and the twisted headstock isn't a deal killer , at that price a re-fret might be worth it. But then I never quite understand the "Bids + Make an Offer" thing - is the seller expecting offers below the minimum bid price, or higher? Cos in that case you might as well bid and hope you're the only one interested in a 1975 Grabber with a twisted headstock...
ash
My old 70’s Grabber has been a favourite since I bought it 12 years ago however it was totally original and cost £410 posted. It was the first and only bass I bought from eBay that felt right straight out of the box. I’d not sell it. This one looks to need work but if you are willing to take it on and the seller is willing to negotiate a decent price I would have a serious look. The pickups on these are superb. I have a spare Grabber pickup that sometimes I use in my bass that shall not be uttered on this forum. 🤣 Edited October 9, 2018 by ash
