dunkirk243
Selling this on behalf of a friend of mine. Having researched it, I believe this is made in the late 1960s but am happy to be proven wrong. Lovely flamed maple back and rose burst finish. Frets in decent condition and good action. PM me if you are interested. Asking for £400 collected from the South West of England.
obbm
Oooh this takes me back. I had one of these from 1964 until 1967. Are those the original tuners? Could you provide a closeup of the area at the front of the body above the neck where all those screws are showing. I don't remember mine being like that. dunkirk243
Hi there, Yes original tuners as far as I can tell. Will take photos over neck few days of that and the cavity with the serial no. and sticker. The area you're asking about has got a switch in there, not sure what it does (I'm a guitarist mainly so this is new to me!). Photos and a closer look will help me work out if it looks factory spec or it's a modification
ash
They aren’t the original tuners they are modern Japanese types, the Framus originals would probably have been made by Van Gent. It looks like it’s been nicely restored however GLWTS.
