Lovely flamed maple back and rose burst finish. Frets in decent condition and good action. PM me if you are interested. Asking for £400 collected from the South West of England.
obbm Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Oooh this takes me back. I had one of these from 1964 until 1967. Are those the original tuners? Could you provide a closeup of the area at the front of the body above the neck where all those screws are showing. I don't remember mine being like that.

Will take photos over neck few days of that and the cavity with the serial no. and sticker. The area you're asking about has got a switch in there, not sure what it does (I'm a guitarist mainly so this is new to me!). Photos and a closer look will help me work out if it looks factory spec or it's a modification
ash Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 They aren’t the original tuners they are modern Japanese types, the Framus originals would probably have been made by Van Gent. It looks like it’s been nicely restored however GLWTS. 1
