zvirus Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) Hi, Anyone in few words please why shall I pay £3000 for a body which does not even look half-decent? Was the wood in 1964 extra good for sound properties? Or is it because made in USA? Is the spraying in Germany that expensive??? Just wondering... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-FENDER-JAZZ-BASS-BODY-made-in-USA/123412789685 Tomas Edited October 8, 2018 by zvirus Quote
NickA Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 'cause it's "vintage", ie nearly as old as me! Shame he painted over the cracks and scratches .. it would be vintaged vintage then and worth even more. Quote
Woodinblack Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 There aren't any markings on a fender jazz body to indicate what year it is are there, even if genuine it would be with that! Quote
