I sold it just because I needed to raise funds for other basses since me already having a sadowsky with this specs. All I can say it's a fantastic bass. Marvelous construction quality/preamp. Also.. Gillento is a supernice and trustworthy guy! 1

IanA Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 This bass has the NJ4SV hum cancelling pickups fitted... not the standard NJ4 as listed on the spec. I had them fitted within 6 months of buying from bass direct.
gillento Posted October 27, 2018 Author Posted October 27, 2018 How can you be so sure about this? I got the bass in my hands and it has a slight hum when one of the PUs is turned down. That is definitely a sign of single coils.
IanA Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Unless they were changed out after I sold it... but I defiantly had the Nordstrand SV’s fitted, Bought them from Bass Direct in 2012...I think Mark fitted them. am I right in saying the serial number is 140? I still have quite a few pictures of it.
