Newfoundfreedom Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 I'll take the really really expensive ones, because everyone knows that expensive makes you sound better. (Isn't that how the logic on here usually goes?) 1 Quote
Woodinblack Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 I guess 'nicer looking' is one of those 'eye of the beholder' things here? 1 Quote

edstraker123 Posted October 18, 2018 Author Posted October 18, 2018 The cheap ones (especially the zebrawood) are definitely more interesting - although the bog oak are best offer so maybe he would take £12 1 Quote
Woodinblack Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 True, but I got some nice ones that looked a bit like the top ones for £3. And they hadn't been anywhere near a bog Quote

alyctes Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 I see the bog oak advert includes the text "notoriously hard to work with these knobs". Indeed. Quote
TheGreek Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Bog Oak is lighter than your run of the mill Oak. Think how many grams you will save by fitting these.. Quote
Hellzero Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 There is even a summer model, a beach wooden knob. Quote

Hellzero Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Yes, an opportunity to seize on. Three doesn't work. Quote

Yes bog logs can be very tricky to work with. Sometimes they come out really nice, other times can be a real pain in the Aris. Quote
Jimothey Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Looking at the shine on them maybe you can polish a turd?!? 😀 Quote
