Owen
I installed one in Church ages ago and it is fine. We had a service in a different room at Church this evening and I clearly need to install one there. Can I just put a beefy Bluetooth transmitter in and get multiple people to "log in" to it or will Bluetooth only pair one at a time? TIA Edited October 21, 2018 by owen
Dood
I would guess that Bluetooth's latency would probably be a problem if "live sound" and the received Bluetooth signal were to be heard at the same time by the listener. It would be really distracting. Your second question, yes I think some devices allow for multiple log ins, but my feeling is that signal can only pass between one pair at a time. I don't know that for sure, but with certain household gadgets I own with bluetooth, that's the case. Owen
I suspect you are correct, but it was an exciting idea. I guess I will just have to install a proper old-school induction loop. Ho-hum.
