Unfortunately I also have rhinitis which causes block sinuses and extenuates the tinnitus when it kicks in. The morning is the worst as I have to get my ears to pop before it clears.

That's the only time i notice anything is when i have a cold or sinus issues sometimes caused by allergies. Don't know if that's classed as Tinnitus

mine gets worse after a cold, also my hearing gets worse in one ear the doctor suggested one of these to unblock the Eustachian tube, not had a cold since I bought one so can't say whether it's works
