Dazlexic101
I'm looking to change my rig up a bit and was looking at the EBS 450 head and Classicline 212 cab. Anyone have any solid reviews on tone and power? I'm terms of power the head is 450watts at 2ohms and the cab is 500watts at 4ohms so I'm unsure as to how much power I'll be getting in terms of wattage. All in all it *looks* like a good amp.. Something with a solid amount of power for most gig scenarios and generally good portability and I've own/have owned EBS products and I'm happy with quality and reliability. Does anyone have any real life experience with one of these set ups?
AndyTravis
Looks nice. I’d say about 250-275w at 4ohm. rough guess. I don’t know half as much about amps as I do basses. Edited October 22, 2018 by AndyTravis
tobiewharton
I've got a Classic 212 that I tend to use with a Reidmar (rated 270w @ 4 Ohms) and it's very loud. Be mindful that whilst the cab is great value, it is a bit of a lump at 30kg and a 'boxy' lift. Casters included though.
JapanAxe
The manual online says it's 400W at 4 ohms - and that's an old-school MOSFET power amp, should be plenty loud through a decent cab.
