Guest MoJo
Looks a bit more serious than that to me. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264008229873
FinnDave
The description seems pretty honest though, and he asks for the buyer to collect 'so they can see what they're getting' which seems fair too.
Reggaebass
I see that yesterday it looks like the body is split , not the paint

Bridgehouse
If it goes for the current price it would be a very cool project...
TheGreek
Somebody thought that they might have a go at being a Rock God? That's no surface crack...
Reggaebass
The crack goes right through to the front, you would have to split the body and re join it

Course, it wouldn’t be original, but I think it’s gone past being worth anything for it’s vintage.
prowla
It's a cracking bass!
Bassassin
Hard to tell what's going on - poor thing's face is proper smashed in, so it's likely the rear body cracks are connected. However - the cracks on the headstock look like water/damp damage to me, like it's been left in a cold/damp garage or loft for years. No telling what the consequences of that are - I'd want to see it first-hand before I'd risk much more than £60 on it.
