The description seems pretty honest though, and he asks for the buyer to collect 'so they can see what they're getting' which seems fair too.

I’d do exactly that - for under £100 I’d strip it, rejoin and refinish as a project.

Yeah, split it, biscuit joint it glue and clamp it  .  It actually looks like quite a nice bass

It’s certainly not fatal - and with a bit of tlc it would be an excellent bass I reckon. Course, it wouldn’t be original, but I think it’s gone past being worth anything for it’s vintage.

Hard to tell what's going on - poor thing's face is proper smashed in, so it's likely the rear body cracks are connected. However - the cracks on the headstock look like water/damp damage to me, like it's been left in a cold/damp garage or loft for years.

No telling what the consequences of that are - I'd want to see it first-hand before I'd risk much more than £60 on it.
