Musicman20 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Did they basically just put the AG700 power module into a TH500? Quote
Painy Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 Looks very much like it I'd say, yes. Quote
Painy Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 And a video - although I've not had a chance to watch it myself as I'm at work right now. Quote
Chienmortbb Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) They use ICEPower ASX modules the 350 uses the 125, the 500 uses the 250 and they seem to have used the ASX700. It is a really good module and used by Mesa amongst others.. Edited November 4, 2018 by Chienmortbb Quote
Lozz196 Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Having had both the 350 and the 500 I can only wonder at how loud the 700 will be. Think this is a good move so that people can get cleaner headroom from the Tonehammer, as it is an amp that generally is gainy/driven when reaching higher volumes. Quote

discreet Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I had a TH350 and it never wanted for more beans. Where will it all end? 'Markbass announce 2kW RMS @ 4ohms amp the size of a credit card - earplugs included'. 1 1 Quote

Good luck with that. Our drummer dropped my bass the other day. Luckily it fell on the guitarist, who was dead drunk on the floor. 2 Quote

OR... for £1169 you could buy very nearly thirteen used Trace Elliot combos and keep one at each venue. Saves carrying 'em. Edited November 6, 2018 by discreet 2 Quote
