New Aguilar Tonehammer 700 just announced!

They use ICEPower ASX modules the 350 uses the 125, the 500 uses the 250 and they seem to have used the ASX700. It is a really good module and used by Mesa amongst others..

Having had both the 350 and the 500 I can only wonder at how loud the 700 will be. Think this is a good move so that people can get cleaner headroom from the Tonehammer, as it is an amp that generally is gainy/driven when reaching higher volumes.

The EBS Reidmar 750, costing less than half that figure, uses the same power module and has a "Drive" function if you want some grit.

I know which one I'd go for.🤔

Blimey! For that money I think I'd rather just buy for a used DB751 and train our drummer to carry it for me.

OR... for £1169 you could buy very nearly thirteen used Trace Elliot combos and keep one at each venue. Saves carrying 'em.
