Norm
One of Joe from "Adam & Joe" little songs isn't it? They used to have a weekly competition on their radio show iirc, both given a theme & had to come up with a song for the weeks show.
ianrendall
Yes I believe from their BBC 6 Music show in 2009. It’s actually a sample. Here’s the original. Gary King on bass. bassbiscuits
Barry Manilow "Copacabana" = dreadful song, cool bass playing.

The 1994 London cast recording has some fabulous playing and great tone on it.
TrevorR
I’ll nominate “Love Is An Open Door” from Disney’s Frozen. Cheesy, cheesy ditty but in the background Abe Laboriel Sr is laying down some amazing, tight bass playing! Exquisite fills being thrown in here and there and the slap line on the second verse and prechorus is simply sublime! Really! Frozen!
