Boss RCL-10

Has anyone used one of the BOSS RCL-10's ?

 

I am thinking of using buying one and using it as Limiter in the FX send of a mixer to protect the speakers from any spikes.

Exactly my thoughts on using a limiter - i.e. to protect my speakers from, in particular, filter or synth spikes.

I ended up A/Bing a few limiters and found the Keeley Bassist to be head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the pack in terms of effectiveness.

Didn't come across the Boss RCL-10 though, which seems to be (literally!) a more heavyweight option than the Boss LMB-3.
