lurksalot Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 No way 😂 surely you must have some emergency pies to get stuck into 😄 1 Quote
steantval Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Either a pattern on the tee shirt or that’s some serious man boob sweat 💦 3 Quote
Bridgehouse Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 You could at least have tidied the ends away into your, erm, “Jack socket” 😁 2 Quote
Pinball Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Provided you don't wear your bass high it shouldn't be a problem...although the drummer may complain I guess Quote
Christine Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Cable tie? I had my bass pulling up my skirt during a gig in the summer when I was soaked with sweat, most embarrassing, I sympathise 1 Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 LOL! It will soon become trendy to use an XLR as a belt, and you've seen it here first. Mark my words. 😉 The bloke on the left is @MacDaddy, who, like the rest of us, was p*ssing himself with laughter. That was after Rick the frontman and I ROFLed at @Happy Jack showing us some crack while adjusting the kick drum mic. We asked him to do something about his trousers, but TBH we didn't quite expect that! 😄 1 Quote

Bridgehouse Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 We’re your jeans balanced or unbalanced afterwards and did they require phantom power? 3 Quote
Paul S Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I see this as a reaction to wireless technology. Now all you simply do is connect Guitar>jeans>pedals>amp - as long as you either get a/ very long leads or b/ aren't very mobile I see a lot of mileage in this. You'll save a fortune in belts AND never be unplugged again accidentally. Bit complicated if you need to nip off to the loo, I'll grant you. Quote
Cato Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) Could have been worse. At least HJ addressed the problem before he went 'full Kravitz'. Edited November 10, 2018 by Cato 1 Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 And here are Happy Jack, MacDaddy and the XLR belt in action. Only eagle-eyed, sober members of the audience would have noticed something weird... 😎 1 Quote

tauzero Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I'd be delighted if my jeans fell down at a gig, it would show the diet is working. Quote

yorks5stringer Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 Looks like this is a device that could be marketed to all musicians who use a lead: may I suggest it's called the 'Jean Genie'? 1 Quote
Count Bassy Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 It obviously worked, but an OBBM cable would have worked better. 1 4 Quote
Happy Jack Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 Anything that allows me to achieve great length without loss of signal ... Quote
TrevorR Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 You need @obbm to wire you up an xlr cable of the correct length! It could start a whole “fashion”range for Dave! 2 Quote
