dannybuoy
Love em, they are definitely one band I want to see live. For the uninitiated: Edited November 15, 2018 by dannybuoy
thebigyin
Good band musically but the vocalist leaves me cold....sorry just a poor mans Robert Plant.

Exactly how I feel. The band is good, the musicians are all quite proficient and the "sound" is there - even if it's not really an innovation, it's still quite good. But the singer man...I don't know, I just feel like he tries too hard. His voice pierces through my ears. To each his own, his singing is just not my cup of tea. He sounds like Plant without the "low-end".
dmccombe7
Have to say i like it. Vocalist has an unusual voice but then again so did Geddy. For me his voice quite suits the music. Def a bit of Plant in that. Dave
Japhet
Thought this was something to do with a commercial vehicle hire company. P.S. Vocals ruin it for me. Edited November 15, 2018 by Japhet

Just my 2 cents though.

dmccombe7
Early Rush albums Geddy had a bit of a nasal shriek. I personally liked his voice even back then but the singer here has more a Robert Plant feel to me. Each to their own or music would be boring. Zalastar
Probably sound a little better when he ages a bit and things drop!
KevB
I heard their most recent offering and it just washed over me a bit and I also find his voice a bit jarring at times, they can all play though. Some very nice bass work (in a very JPJ style not surprisingly) on there. I'll probably wait until they have more material to draw from before I go see them live though. Oopsdabassist
Love em. Yes they are a bit Zepp rip off, but my god I'm happy to hear some new Led Zep type vibes in this day and age!!!

ahpook
It's just struck me that Robert Plant sounds like an equipment hire company. Edited November 15, 2018 by ahpook
mrtcat
Like many others here, the singer get's on my moobs. I'd take Rival Sons over these guys every day of the week.
BigRedX
Tedious 70s influenced rock of the worst kind.

I wasn’t impressed with the sound. With that venue unless your inside the main square or up top. The sound gets lost I thought it sounded muddy at times. To much volume. Great energy and presence though.
The59Sound
I was front and centre and thought it sounded great. Bass was a little washed out (could be down to flats) as were the vocals.
