Ok so I bought a set of Roto Sound swing bass strings the other day and put them on just now. However these strings feel really quite rough I notice they stick to my hands more when I slide up/down the strings. I think it might just be a duff pack but is there anything I could put on them to make them feel more "slippery"

I find this with Ernie Ball Strings, less so with Rotosounds.
In any case, try

FAST FRET.
Too waxy for my liking, I prefer coated strings instead (Or DR Fatbeams)
But it does make 'em slippery and er... Fast.

Ahh, that makes sense as the last set of strings I was using was some Nickel wound D'Addario strings and these are stainless steel. I'm going to get the Fast fret stuff anyway as there's a 1st time for everything :)
