Silly Dingwall Question

On the Dingwall site it says the nut width is 45.5mm on the NG2 5 string.

 

Is the measurement straight across the neck, or at the same angle as the nut?

Interesting question - I don't know the answer but I'd bet it's the former: straight across. Plenty of Dingbats on the forum... many with rulers too!

Straight across the neck makes most sense, as that’s how your hand will perceive the width. Good to know!
