zander71
Great Ernie Ball Stingray bass from 1996. Comes in a lovely cherry burst finish with a maple neck. All original and comes with original case. A couple of age related chips but nothing major. Case clasps have been replaced but all in all an amazing playing bass. Based near Glasgow. AndyTravis
Third stingray today I’ve wanted - would be the 6/7th time I’ve owned one...
songofthewind
That is very nice! I tell myself I can’t play a Stingray because of the nut width, but pix like that weaken my resolve...

Mine is such a petty reason, I sell them because I play exactly where the pickup sits and dig through the strings - the pole pieces tear my fingers up. I love the feel and sound of them - I literally just need to get a bartolini/Duncan/emg pickup... instead I throw a strop and sell them on. i think my old 94 has just come up for sale 🤦🏻♂️

I do have 2 other stingrays but i'm selling this as I'm buying another one and can't justify them all.
totorbass
Very nice. btw looks more like honeyburst to me (which I prefer). Not very red for a cherry. Or did it fade a bit?
zander71
It may be honeyburst but I've seen so many varying descriptions and pictures over the years calling this finish both names.
