I also spent some time with @Jabba_the_gut who is an absolute legend who gave me loads of tips and threw in some veneers.

Lots of little things like scale length, string alignment etc. I may keep that neck for another project, and get one that fits, or I may tinker-not sure yet but enjoying the process and really appreciate time taken by people to help out
