Currrls Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) I was just about to take the circles of the 'polo bass' and put the original white scratchplate back on and then i thought, why dont I let you guys decide! Edited December 2, 2008 by Currrls Quote
Currrls Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 you know what, it looks better in the flesh than in those photos Quote

If you like the polos - keep with em! They are certainly individual! Edited December 2, 2008 by EBS_freak Quote
Stingray5 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Or maybe go for something multicoloured instead. Starburst maybe. Or Smarties - I hear they've brought back the blue ones too! Still, as has been mentioned, it's your bass. Go with your gut! (er...not on the bass though! ) Quote
s_u_y_* Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I voted no... but over the past 30 seconds, I've warmed up to them. They are certainly unique. Quote
steve-soar Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Ring binder reinforcements. Get rid, they look stupid. Stop smoking pot also. Only kidding, you make your bass look like you want it to. Quote
tauzero Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) Trouble is that they look like what they are, a load of ringbinder rings stuck on a bass. If you could find some way of doing something like that without it looking like a load of ringbinder rings, that would be good. You could try looking at the optical sheets here, which might contain something of interest. Edited December 3, 2008 by tauzero Quote
Dr.Dave Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 You'd up the 'classy' rating by a thousand percent by covering them with a clear pickguard. Quote

bassmanady Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 ..voted no, as it seems to cheapen the look of the bass to me,which has a very nice blue colour Quote
