Saving videos off Facebook?

Random IT help query here, would be grateful if anyone can help...

My band has had a few people upload videos of us to Facebook. They've tagged us in so it appears on our page and I have saved these within Facebook for quick reference. However, I'd like to put them in the bands Dropbox along with all photos and other stuff and be able to send these out to people. Does anyone know how I download these videos off Facebook? Is it possible?

If you own the page, this is what should be appearing:

You can download them yes. Click on the 3 dots at the side of the video, that should give you the option to download. I've attached a photo of one of mine.

I use the Video DownloadHelper Firefox extension for when I want to download videos from websites. Haven't tried it with Facebook myself, but according to the page description it is compatible.

However, if you don't own the page, their settings may prevent you from downloading. This happens on a page I don't own, when I try to download their cover photo. (Any other photo seems to work as above, though).

 

Videos aren't dowloadable on that page - it all depends on their settings.

If that happens, simply replace the "www" in the URL with "mbasic" it will open up the mobile site on your desktop, then you can right-click save from there.
