Guest Marcoelwray
Hi folks Looking for these but nothing so far... I like to play with LaBella's, don't like the Roto too much, I'm open to suggestions... No real preferences for the gauge, but I don't like guitar strings so around .030 for the C is good.. Thanks! ambient
That's the annoying problem with playing a 6, or indeed a 7 string bass; lack of string choice if you want to use something other than round wound.

It's for a five but the problem is already there.. can't imagine for a 6er....
CameronJ
Bass Direct sell LaBella nylon tapewounds but it looks like the smallest gauge they do is .42 - but that makes sense when you consider that they are roundwounds covered in nylon wrap...the string underneath the nylon is probably a .32! http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/LaBella_Nylon_wound.html Edited December 9, 2018 by CameronJ

If you email La Bella and ask nicely they will sell you a five string high C black nylon set: E-A-D-G-C (115-94-70-60-43) ....
