vmaxblues
Did a deal recently with a great friend of mine to acquire this interesting bass. It is a Jaydee Celeste Supernatural 5, apparently only ten of these were ever made and one was for Geezer Butler as rumour has it! It has a gorgeous neck, beautiful body (which is a tad heavy). It is in great shape but at some point in it's life the pickups and electrics were removed and replaced with EMG pickups and pre-amp, which actually sound great. I am looking for some pickup surrounds or pickups which would fit better in the holes if anyone has any suggestions?
ambient
Could you get some made for it by someone like Kent Armstrong?
Sonic_Groove
Nice! Why not see if JayDee can supply the original Pu's?

They will respond eventually. If they can't remake the pickups, he may be able to make you wooden covers to match the holes and cover the EMGs. Don't think they make the pre-amp anymore. It would have been a blend, vol, B, T originally. Guessing there must be an input jack on the side.
