It was interesting to find out why everyone used Fender basses. Not because they were the best, but so that recording engineers knew they could set up the bass sound in 2 seconds flat. If you took a different bass you didn't get asked back!!

Yes, I found Rogers comments on the selection of body wood particularly interesting and the chambering is something I think we may see more of in the future from other makers.

Informative stuff. Makes me want a Sadowsky even more. Also, the Patitucci film on that website is excellent and is well worth forking over the cash.
