The pain has subsided...

New Ashdown RM EVO II 500 combo has arrived 

fits in the stupid small boot in my Volvo...and sounds great - and loud.

had the rm800 head and 210/115 cabs I wish I’d never sold. 

Tgis is a great 1 box solution, and the sub is better on this too.

not promising a 115 won’t happen...

Nice one Andy, the RMs from Ashdown are a real hidden (but slowly popping their head over the parapets) range. Much beefier than any other Class D amp I`ve had.

I have two different  Ashdown  valve heads, love 'em,  there might be better but I'm not spending  money to find out, I hope this is  everything  you hope for.

I’ve always used Ashdown, then when iris was born I gave up hope of gigging again and sold a beautiful rig...I had a MK500/408 neo rig, and an RM800 rig.

had a beautiful chrome ABM too at one point.

Now Iris is settled and her operations are all done (for now) its time.

this is a hoot - can’t wait for rehearsal on Wednesday when I don’t have to use a tc bg250 anymore.

So, 2 rehearsals in and this combo is being pushed - new drummer is mega loud at points.

it doesn’t fart, doesn’t give up and sounds mega - I panicked and struggled on the first night as I was just getting used to the eq on the bb1100s (I’d only had the bass 4 hours) and thought I’d be needing a cab to help.

I couldn’t have been more wrong, against a 100w Two Rock Valve guitar amp and 2x12, it manages perfectly with room to spare.

Set the EQ pretty flat, and EQ’d a bit from

the bass.

Think i’ll Entertain a cab at some point - just to unnerve the drummer a bit more.

The recessed top handle is mint too as I store picks in there - just need a pint holder attachment 😉

Really am guys, especially now I know what the eq on the bass does in line with the amp.

yep, I've recently started gigging with the RM 500 EVO ll head. Very good it is too.

I may change to Ashdown cabs at some point, just so it matches
