JimF
I just bought this 5 string fretless jazz style bass - the seller didn't know what make it is and I don't recognise the logo. There are no other markings anywhere on the bass. It plays absolutely beautifully. I'm hoping some of you good folk will let me know who it's made by. John Cribbin
It's not a logo I know. As far as I'm aware if a product is sold through the shop system, they are required to have the country of manufacture on them. The lack of a plug surround on the truss rod hole of a Fender style neck, is usually an indication of a cheap Chinese neck. My gut reaction is, you've either got a kit guitar, or one that was imported directly from China. As long as it's a good player and you enjoy it, job done. Newfoundfreedom
The logo is nothing to do with the bass. It's from the packing crate it was made from. 😂
JimF
It must have been a very good packing crate then, because this is one the best playing basses I've ever owned, and that includes USA Fenders, Yamahas and lawsuit Tokais. It's the most resonant fretless I've ever played, and the only fretless I've ever come across that hasn't got a dead spot somewhere around the fifth fret position.
