Bought these last week but they are not for me, gigged with them last night but I prefer the D’Addario tapes.

these have got about 2 hours playing on them

What don't you like about them? If it's the tension then the black La Bellas will be no different, just a bit darker sounding.

Yeah, tension is just too low for me, I have the D’Addario blacks on my other bass which I really like, they have quite a bit more tension than these, if the black LaBellas are the same tension as the whites then I’d be after some D’Addario.

they were worth a go but just not for me, very similar tension to TI flats.
