I thought I was going to be able to contain myself about this build, but the more pictures Chris sends me the more excited I am getting I can’t wait to get my hands on this thing!

I cant recommend Alpher highly enough, anyone looking for a world class instrument should really give them a shout!

Update on this work of art! This pic is from a while ago, only just got round to putting it on here.  The bass is really taking shape.  Chris and Al doing a great job!

Very nice, give Chris a nudge and tell him to get mine finished 😉....mines the blue Cobia currently awaiting its pup!

That is a beautiful bass. Good taste!

I got it home today and it sounds every bit as good as it looks! An absolute masterpiece. I highly recommend a chat with Chris if you are looking for a world class instrument!

We are blessed in the UK with some great bass builders. Makes me wonder why people buy mass produced instruments from the big companies....

Support the little man and get something unique....

We are indeed. On your other point, mass produced instruments have economies of scale behind them, as nice as Alpher basses are, and I'm sure they're lovely people to boot, I can't afford over £2k for a bass, but I can afford to buy a Fender. Admittedly mine was second hand, but I could have bought new if I'd had to. Having said that, a bespoke bass isn't completely out of the picture forever ;)
