Tim Lefebrve (sp) is leaving Susan and Derek, real shame as he sounds great in that band, but they won’t be short of fantastic replacements. Time for basschatters to dust off their audition vids maybe?

Yeah, I got a ticket for this. Was looking forward to seeing TL on bass in this band so it’s a bit disappointing he’s left.

Not surprised it's sold out. I went to Nashville to see them at the Ryman earlier this year - twice in 8 days! (Ok I go to Nvl once or twice a year to see my son and d-i-l and grandsprogs anyway - but as soon as those tour dates were announced I booked flights and my son booked tickets 🙂 ) 

The first was pretty impressive, as you'd expect from their studio work. Great guitar and bass, strong backing vocals and horns. But the second was completely different - much looser, more improvisation, extraordinary flow - just a *live* music experience over and above. 

If you are lucky enough to have a ticket, the worst chance is it will be brilliant, it might be even better. 🙂

There is an interview on Youtube where TT are saying when they decide to change the sound of the band they fire/replace someone.

Even if Oteil and Tim's leaving was their own decision, TT went down in my estimation when I heard that. 

Still a good band. . . but. . .

How’s about this then, Santa’s only gone and got me tickets from the Friday at the palladium. So it doesn’t matter if I get the call or not, I’ll see you there.

My tickets booked as well , saw them at The O2  Indigo a few years ago and they were brilliant .

Have arrived in the big village, counting down the hours now. Chances of being asked to play increasingly slim.
