Best to check basschat, ebay, facebook instrument market places, etc. You'll then get a decent idea of a fair price.

Based on prices I've seen recently, the going price is around £800 to £850.

A Stingray Classic with flamed maple neck..........I would say £1,100- £1,200.

Agree - maybe more. It's not unusual for classics to have flame and Birdseye - mine has both. That's a very nice looking Stingray Classic bass.

That Bass has non standard strap locks - see if you can get the original strap buttons if you buy it.

I think the seller could get 1200 from a commision sale even after the fee, I wouldn't sell it for less if it were mine but it depends how much the seller needs to sell it and what it cost them.

If I still played 4s I'd be after it myself!

Not for one of these, thats way too cheap - its  a Stingray Classic not a normal Stingray. Looks like its pretty mint with a nice flame neck too so easily £1200+

Hell no...for that money might as well add up 400 more and get a new 2018 Special.

That's for a standard one. The one in the picture seems to be a Classic series one, which goes for a fair bit more.

Red one sold on eBay yesterday £964

That's what you get for selling something between Christmas and new year.

Also when I've 'won' things at a low price the seller has miraculously lost, broken or had said item stolen.

I’ve ‘won’ a few of those in the past......
