Brass rings with the same red silk. The silk is "glossy" and an intense red colour. I'm pretty sure that they aren't Rotosound Jazz 77's, as used them in the past and these feel different. Yes that's the trouble, if I bought 4 sets of different strings to try that would be more than the bass cost me 😂 I uses to use 77's in my rock band, then switched to Status half rounds, which I loved but they stopped making them so I switched to Elixir rounds.
