JuliusGroove
Apologies for the vague title but that’s about as concisely as I could explain it.. One of the metal fittings in the back of my American Fender Jazz has evaporated into thin air. It’s the bit that goes in the string hole when it is strung through the body. Any idea what they are called and how I can get a replacement one?
Woodinblack
A google for 'jazz bass ferrule' will get you what you want
Bassassin
You might want to specify it's for string-through. The similar but larger rings around your tuner posts are also called ferrules.
Happy Jack
But also specify that you haven't broken your umbrella or walking stick.
